VINfinder SMS allows the customer to identify a vehicle by sending a text message from a mobile phone. The user simply prepares a text message which contains the keyword "VIN" and the 17 digit VIN number. The message is then sent to the registered short code number 87211. For each VIN number which is decoded and returned to the sender, users will be charged a trial price of £1.50, paid directly to their mobile phone network provider.
VINfinder SMS can only be accessed by mobile phones registered in the UK. Please note, VINfinder SMS is currently NOT available to Virgin Mobile users.
