VINfinder provides
the true identity of a vehicle by decoding the 17 character Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN).
Upon entry of a Vehicle Identification Number, the program verifies and then translates the coded information contained within the various elements of the VIN. The database currently contains information on 19,862 World Manufacturer Identifiers, 70 countries, over 17,000 manufacturers and 1,522 vehicle types including motor, motorcycles, light and heavy commercial vehicles.
